At the request of the management of Municipal Non-Profit Enterprise “City Clinical Hospital No. 6”, specialists of PB “Architect Expert” LLC developed a project for the reconstruction of civil defense protective structures in compliance with current state building regulations for protective facilities.


Project Concept

The project provides for the transformation of existing shelters, which are divided into a fully functional underground surgical block with all required main and auxiliary facilities, as well as a protective shelter, including:

  • operating theatres
  • sterilization units
  • pre-operative and post-operative wards
  • intensive care facilities
  • engineering, technical, and support rooms
  • shelter and associated auxiliary spaces

Facility Operation

In peacetime:

  • performance of scheduled and emergency surgeries
  • ensuring continuous operation of the intensive care unit
  • reducing the load on existing surgical facilities of the hospital

In wartime:

  • protection of staff and patients from modern means of destruction
  • uninterrupted performance of scheduled and emergency surgical procedures
  • backup operation of the medical facility in case of damage to the main buildings
